Cygnus provides instruments well suited for this kind of work. The gauges will read through paint and coatings and our Multiple Echo technique ensures reliable thickness measurements every time. Typical resolution is 0.05 mm (0.002 inches).
Our 'Deep Coat' mode offers the ability to measure through coatings up to 20 mm thick.
All our gauges are very simple to operate meaning unskilled operators can use them with confidence, no
prior ultrasonic testing experience is required.

- The Cygnus 2 Hands Free is ideal for Rope Access or Belt Mounted work with its end-on display
